Crepe-ology in Galle

Though perfected in France, the crepe has been reimagined in almost every kitchen around the world. And here in the heart of Galle, is perhaps the island’s most famous crepe specialist, serving a variety that ranges from the sweet to the savoury, and everything in between.

Crepe-ology is located on the rooftop of the beautifully renovated Carousel de Galle building, part of the world heritage Galle Fort complex. There is an undeniable hint of old world charm that seamlessly blends in with the chic lounge-like atmosphere, which includes a few shisha pipes. A great place to sit back and chill on a hot Galle afternoon.

The food, on the other hand, is anything but old fashioned. The crepes are infused with flavours from around the world. One of their all time favourite, is the Happy Ending – a divine creation featuring hazelnuts, chocolate and banana. The menu also features a range of wraps, salads and starters. If you’re feeling parched, there’s a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, shakes, Italian sodas, floats and their own signature chillers like the refreshing Minty Lime & Ginger.

Crepe-ology also has a separate kids menu and an air-conditioned family dining section, so bring the whole family in for a very special treat. There is also free wi-fi and free food delivery within the Fort.
