Sri Lanka is as much a paradise below sea level as it is above. In the island’s southern waters, you could come face to face with a Whale shark or a Manta Ray, or discover the wreck of an old steamship that sank off the coast of Galle in 1871. If you are looking for an underwater adventure, head over to the Divers-Land Dive Club.
This small locally owned PADI dive centre, located just a few minutes from Galle, in Unawatuna, offers a variety of underwater activities, such as PADI dive courses, PADI scuba diving program for beginners, reef dives, wreck dives, night dives, deep dives, as well as snorkelling tours. All dive locations are close to Dive Land’s home base in Unawatuna.

Divers-Land was started in 2011 by Rishan Abeygunawardena, popularly known as Shoy. An experienced diver who began at the age of 16, Shoy has worked in dive centres abroad with over a thousand dives to his name. He is also a certified PADI instructor, which means you can get an Open Water Diver license, Advance Diver license, Rescue Diver license or Dive Master license.
Safety always comes first and you are always assured of high quality diving equipment. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, Shoy and his experienced team are ready to introduce you to a whole new world below sea level.
