Coast-to-Coast Trek

Klong Prao Beach

Not for the couch potato, this long strenuous trek by Jungle Fever cuts right across the island, going from its east coast to the west, lasting almost 11 hours. With a 7am pick from your hotel, the trek kicks off near the Klong Pru waterfall, which you pass, ascending to around 500 metres above sea level. Here you reach the source of the Than Mayom stream, following its course until it becomes a waterfall, which has a number of natural pools to cool off in. Along the way, which includes some steep climbs and descents, and passes through tropical rain forest and dry evergreen, you see a variety of plant species, and snakes, barking deer, langurs, monkeys, and wild boar, if you don’t thrash around the bush too much. At certain points on the trail, keep your cameras...
