Cera in Koh Samui

Owner Khanchai Wirattanakul is said to be the island’s top ceramic artist. Taking his inspiration from the island’s natural beauty, and the shapes, colours and textures that surround him, he produces colourful, contemporary works of art that are both original and dramatic. His spacious showroom is a treasure trove of interesting ceramic ware, handcrafted metal accessories, and funky furniture. Much of his work is visible at numerous hotels and spas on the island. And while 45 x 35 inch sofa made from moulded aluminum strips might not be the ideal thing to take back home, his showrooms stock plenty of smaller items that would make perfect keepsakes or gifts.
