Weird yet wonderful, this museum is a fascinating compilation of strange, shocking and sometimes beautiful oddities from around the world. This collection like others in Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museums around the world are the work of cartoonist, reporter, adventurer Robert Ripley that began in 1918, who picked up many strange and unbelievable souvenirs on his travels.
The Pattaya collection features over 10 individually themed galleries that house over 350 unique exhibits including, believe or not, a mask made from human skin, a real human shrunken head, primitive torture devices, and even the a model of the Titanic made from more than 1,000,000 matchsticks.
Additional attractions that are part of the Ripley’s World of Entertainment make it the perfect day out for families or groups of friends. These include ‘The Vault’, a lazer maze challenge; the Sky Rider that gives you a bird’s eyeview of the seaside town; the Ripley’s Haunted Adventure featuring a dizzying array of amazing special effects, live actors and animatronics; the 4D Moving Theater, a four-dimensional system with a giant screen, digital surround sound, seats that move in 8 directions, and specially designed, polarised, three-dimensional glasses, that combine to allow the audience to become part of the action on screen; an Infinity Maze, a 20-minute journey that challenges your perception and mesmerizes your senses through spectacular illusions, innovative lighting effects, sound fields, atmospheric effects and mood setting music; and finally there is the Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks, which allows you to pose with your favourite celebrity.
