Lemongrass House
Lemongrass House in Phuket

Intoxicated by the aroma of popcorn, Bob Duchowny gave up a career producing films, to focus on creating lotions and potions to pamper the body. He first tested his products at the Bangkok’s famed Chatuchak Market before bringing it down south to Phuket.

The walls of their two-storey building, constructed from lemon-yellow and lime-green shipping containers, is lined with thousands of bottles filled with exotic fragrances and essential oils. All the products are organic and fresh with a guarantee that they have either been on a tree or in the ground in the last three months. Their range includes after-sun gels, body scrubs, baby powder, anti-stretch mark oils, soaps, scents, candles, essential oils and organic teas; there’s even a collection for your little ones. Choose from 90 different aromas such as coconut, lavender, and jasmine, or let the staff create a customised fragrance based on your favourite scents. Unusual orders they have catered to include lotions made from Swiss chocolate, sake, and Swiss chocolate, and a bacon room spray that one hotel ordered to entice its guests to the buffet. Their most popular product is the organic lemongrass mosquito spray.
